thanks to the jake there already are some pics available. so let's start with day two, the day the photographer - all enthusiasm - arrived in new york. while i hunted down a pink floyd cycling jersey for my brother-in-law, johannes and roli picked him up a the airport. yeah, we had a car! we commuted from our motel in nassau to the HOPE congress in manhatten every day and now i know what hendrix' song 'crosstown traffic' is all about. at least the hotel pennsylvania offers valet parking which proved to be quite valuable at 37 bucks a day, because regular parking garages in manhattan charge 20$ an hour!
