back in austria we call this time of year 'Advent', that means arrival - of some higher authority, of course.
actually, I've just arrived in apopka, florida, yet with no authority at all.
anyways, I've already been to the dentist and got some of my favorite pain medication as a reward for 6 (SIX!) hours of torture - including about 12 shots.
plus, I noticed the following differences:
AUSTRIA: snow, cold, dark, alcohol, 'last Xmas' on the radio
FLORIDA: moist, warm, sun, food, Xmas radio stations but last Xmas very rarely heard!!!
I miss it! Advent with hardly any George Michael seems so vain.
